Background
The 2026 Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP), organised by Cyberport Academy and supported by the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF), focuses on AI, Data Science, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity to nurture future innovation and technology entrepreneurs.
Since 2015, CUPP has nurtured over 500 talents across 90+ teams. For the 2026 cohort, up to 20 selected teams will participate in:
- A series of pre-camp digital technology nurturing sessions in Hong Kong (June–July 2026)
- An overseas entrepreneurship boot camp in August 2026 atLondon School of Economics and Political Science (including accelerator visits, investor pitches, mentor exchanges, company tours, and cultural experiences)
- A Demo Day / Pitch Competition after the boot camp
Up to 10 outstanding teams will each receive HK$100,000 seed funding from CCMF and opportunities to join Cyberport’s Incubation Programme (CIP) for further financial, technical, and business support.

Our FinTech programme actively supports student teams in developing innovative digital tech projects aligned with the programme themes (AI, Data Science, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity).

Project: AccessMonitor — AI-Driven Performance Intelligence for Open Banking Integration
AccessMonitor is an AI-powered platform designed to deliver real-time performance monitoring, risk assessment, and predictive analytics for Open Banking integrations. The solution aims to help financial institutions and fintech companies enhance security, optimise system performance, and ensure seamless open banking operations.
The team is led by INOCENO Gabrielle Eloise Ilustrisimo (Gabby), a Year 3 Information Systems Management student with a Sociology background. Gabby brings strong systems expertise and deep user empathy to drive strategy, partnerships, and go-to-market impact. She is joined by Wong Tin Vargas, Owen, a Year 3 FinTech student with experience in trading and hospitality, who contributes global business perspective, ESG insight, and strong product intuition. Completing the team is Man Ki Kuen, Sunny, a Year 2 Data Science student, who powers the AI core with technical excellence in machine learning and platform development.
The team is guided by Professor Roman Matousek, Director of the Centre for Global Finance and FinTech, and Dr. Jason Liao, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Centre for Global Finance and FinTech at HSUHK.
