About CUPP
The Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP), supported by Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF), is a FinTech-focused entrepreneurship programme aimed at nurturing young FinTech talents for Hong Kong since 2015. It provides nominated university students with a life-changing experience to unleash their potential and gain insights into the global market. Key components include:
-
Pre-Camp Nurturing Sessions: Local workshops on FinTech trends and entrepreneurship.
-
Overseas Entrepreneurship Boot Camp: A prestigious boot camp, often in Silicon Valley, focusing on FinTech, AI, and blockchain applications.
-
Mentorship: Guidance from local and international industry elites.
-
Pitching Opportunities: Teams pitch innovative FinTech solutions for a chance to win HK$100,000 grant from CCMF.
CUPP fosters collaboration with local universities through Memoranda of Understanding (MoU), including HSUHK, to develop the FinTech ecosystem in Hong Kong and prepare students for the region’s projected demand of 3,000 professionals annually by 2027.
HSUHK’s Participation
HSUHK actively participates in CUPP as a key university partner, leveraging our FinTech Literacy Enhancement Project to nominate and support students in FinTech innovation. Our involvement aligns with our mission to deliver accessible, non-technical FinTech education, equipping students with practical skills in AI, blockchain, and regtech.
