CUPP 2025

Background

The 2025 Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP), organised by Cyberport Academy and supported by the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund, focuses on AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Data Science to nurture future innovation and technology entrepreneurs. Launched on 14 June 2025, it involves 12 local universities, including HSUHK. Selected teams participate in pre-camp digital technology training in Hong Kong, an overseas entrepreneurship boot camp from 1 to 10 August 2025 at Draper University in the USA (including accelerator visits, investor pitches, mentor exchanges, company tours, and cultural experiences), and a Demo Day in late August. Up to 10 outstanding teams receive HK$100,000 seed funding from CCMF and opportunities to join Cyberport’s Incubation Programme (CIP) for financial, technical, and business support.
